Children Recruited into the Homosexual Lifestyle
Two disturbing recent developments in Melbourne highlight the dangers our children are exposed to. We know that homosexuals cannot reproduce themselves (unless they get IVF access rights) so they must recruit to replenish their numbers. One way they can get access to young children is by using the guise of counseling services.
To this end, a new book, called Alsorts, was launched by the ALSO Foundation, a Victorian gay and lesbian group. The book is aimed at children who may be confused about their sexuality. The basic premise of the book is to say that if you are confused, you are probably gay, so welcome to the club. But our young people should not be recruited into the dangerous gay lifestyle. It is normal for adolescents to experience some confusion and uncertainty about their sexuality, but they come out normal (heterosexual) in most cases later on.
The author of the book said it was needed to protect such kids from suicide and depression. But if we are really concerned about our young people, we should not let them be pulled into such a high risk and dangerous lifestyle. Over 85% of HIV/AIDS cases in Australia are due to homosexual activity. Should we counsel kids into other dangerous lifestyles such as drink driving or cigarette smoking?
And in the Bayside and Kingston City Councils a flyer was sent to children asking them to come to an "exciting program, which will provide fun, information and support" if they are questioning their sexuality. The flyer is aimed at 12 to 18 year-olds, but some kids as young as 7 received them as well. Again the justification used was that kids need someone to talk to about their sexuality.
However, red lights should be flashing when we learn that the kids were told not to bring their parents to the meeting. Parents should be the first port of call for children who have important questions such as this. Parents should not be excluded from this process. But of course the real agenda is recruitment. "Oh, you are confused about your sexual identity? Well, welcome to the club. You are one of us." This is predatory recruitment which is very dangerous. Similar tactics can be used by child abusers and pedophiles.
This is a scandalous use of rate-payer money, aimed at driving a wedge between children and their parents. And this is not a lifestyle any council should encourage young children to get involved in.
