South Australian 2010 Election
South Australians will be going to the polls on the 20th of March 2010 to elect their State Government for the next four years. There is a real risk, because of changes in candidates (due to retirement) in one of the major parties that the longstanding opposition to euthanasia in that place may be lost at this election.
People are always being encouraged to seek out the opinions of their candidates on issues such as euthanasia. That's not too difficult in your local seat (lower house); but in the upper house it is much more difficult.
That's why we have produced a voter's guide to assist you. We've highlighted candidates in the known parties who will stand up against euthanasia and we suggest you give them your support. There may be others, particularly independents, who think likewise - this is not an exhaustive list. (Please read comments in the guide)
Please use this document and send it to your friends.
We stress, this is a guide only: In following this guide, you will still be able to prefer your favourite political party so long as you vote below the line (fill out every square) and list the names on the guide after your party of preference.
